Hi there! My name is Jessica and I am a teacher in North Carolina. I absolutely love teaching of all types, especially when it comes to science. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2009 in Biology, and went on to go to graduate school in Hawaii. During my time getting my M.S. in Conservation Biology & Environmental Science, I worked for the USDA-Agriculture Research Service as a scientist and published my research with them.
I moved to teaching in 2013 and have taught secondary Science and upper elementary Math/ELA. I love working with learners of all ages and with all subjects. While I specialize in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and other specific courses, I am happy to tutor non-science related classes as well!
Thanks for reading and I hope I can help you be successful in your academic endeavors! I look forward to hearing from you! Please feel free to look at my professional website and see more about my past experience and teaching philosophy at www.jessicaleemanton.com.
