Do you miss when math only dealt with numbers? Are all the shapes, radius and circumference measurements throwing you off? Stress no more; a geometry tutor can help you overcome any and all of your struggles. This is an unavoidable course. If you’re in high school and experiencing geometry for the first time, it is important to get a jump on the course and find a geometry tutor early on. Geometry requires a unique kind of thinking that you don't get much exposure to in previous courses. You don’t want to pick up bad habits at the beginning of the class that later become difficult to unlearn. As for the college student, a tutor can help you get back the foundational math skills you may have forgotten over the years. Math is a process, but having a professional one-on-one geometry tutor will give you more attention and time to work on problems step by step.
Geometry is the branch of mathematics concerned with the properties and relations of points, lines, surfaces, solids, and higher dimensional analogs. The definition is complex in itself, let alone what will actually be covered when your child is in the class. This class often brings so many issues to students because it comes out of nowhere. It is unlike any class that they have had to take before and unlike any, they will probably have to take in the future. Known as being one of those classes that you might not ever have to use, it is still a necessity. This stands even truer if your child one day hopes to work with any type of math, they need to learn these skills right away. The best way to make sure that they are getting the information that they need is for them to work with geometry tutoring. Our tutors are professional college graduates who have years of experience working and as math tutors, so what your child will learn from them will be an absolute asset. This is important when trying to tackle subject matter that is in the realm of geometry.
There are so many little things that are involved with this class that anything you miss will surely come back to bite you if it is not picked up. A HeyTutor private geometry tutor will work with your child to make sure that any of these gaps are filled in a way that benefits them and keeps them on the right track. This type of tutoring will be incredibly valuable to what your child is learning now and in the future, as there will be several questions on the ACT or SAT that deal with geometry. So they need to get as much out of this class as they can from the jump. We have the best tutors available to your child and if you truly want to see them succeed in this type of course then you need to be on the search for “geometry tutoring near me.” Being able to work with someone who has so much experience under their belt will help your child prepare for tests and quizzes. Test anxiety is not something to play with, as it can truly hinder your child and keep them from getting their grade. Often times a major chunk of your child’s grade will come from these aspects of the class so if they struggle it will really hold them back. It might even lead to them failing the course if it gets out of control. So to eliminate this problem, your child needs to work with someone who can really explain things to them in a way that makes sense.
The main problem that we see is a disconnect that is created between the teacher and the student. This is not going to happen with one of our tutors because of the unique approach that they use. For your child to get feedback on their tests, quizzes, and homework from someone who is as qualified as our tutors is truly a blessing. In essence, your child will be assigned their own personal geometry tutor who has at least five to fifteen years of experience teaching the subject matter. Success is right around the corner when your child is matched with one of our tutors who is going to help them in a multitude of ways.

Having strong math skills will benefit your student throughout the entirety of their academic career. Geometry tutoring can help show your student various ways to solve and asses a problem they might face in class. Sometimes just gaining a different perspective can change the whole obstacle, especially in a subject like geometry, which requires an abstract type of thinking. A geometry tutor can help find what way your student learns best. Understanding their unique learning style can relieve frustrations and save them a lot of time and headaches. Plus, it’s always nice to have someone on your side rooting for you, which is something a classroom teacher can't always provide to dozens of students. When you need a quick refresher before an exam, you can count on your tutor to help polish up your geometry skills. Surely by now, you are saying “I need a geometry tutor.”
The opportunities to learn geometry with one of our math tutors are never more prevalent than when your child is sitting there and getting the experience. It is truly unlike anything that they are currently experiencing while in school. This is because our tutors are able to give them individualized attention that is absolutely impossible in a typical classroom or in a group tutoring session. What we have seen often is that students struggle in class so they go to the teacher after school only to find that it is essentially the same as the class. Except during after hours every student has issues with the subject matter so the teacher is especially spread thin. Afterward, your child walks out of these sessions feeling even more frustrated than they did before. This is a depleting feeling that will make your child think they simply cannot learn this material. But that is far from the case and what they will realize when they work with one of our tutors.
HeyTutor provides the exact service you were imaging when you started looking for a “geometry tutor near me.” This is individualized attention from a certified professional who knows how to help your student get through any issues they are facing in the class. In their class currently, they have a curriculum and syllabus that they have to follow which was provided by the teacher. On these materials is everything that will be covered in the class and how they will cover it. However, there is nothing in the syllabus that helps students who are struggling. When this happens to a student falling behind they will just be steamrolled by more information. That is when they need to step aside and seek outside assistance. Our tutors will take their syllabus along with all of their class materials then create a lesson plan that is based on your student. This plan will help make sure that your child is able to learn this material and then get the grade that they need so they can move on from this math course. But our tutors also want your child to be able to remember what they have learned, even if it just the basics. Your child will be thankful when it is time for them to take a college acceptance exam and they see a problem that they know how to solve because of how their tutor helped them.
This is the type of dedication you are getting when you work with one of our tutors. Someone who is absolutely committed to your child learning the material, not just putting them through the course. These are not college students who are trying to make a few extra bucks. What you will be getting is someone who is an expert in the field but also a phenomenal tutor. Our tutors will help them develop skills that they can use for the rest of their lives especially when it comes to school. This includes organization and test prep that can carry over to several other classes. When they are able to walk in on test day with the assurance that they have prepared for the test they will do their best work.
It is hard to focus on a test when they are worried about if they did enough studying or if they did the right kind of studying. We all know that when it comes to math there is a right way to do things and often teachers want you to show your work. So your child not only has to get the correct answer but they have to prove to their teacher that they did it in the way that they were taught. This comes with preparation and only a private geometry tutor can have them ready to do this if they are struggling to understand the class. Work with one of our geometry tutors at HeyTutor so they can make sure your skills are as sharp as an acute triangle.
My grandson has been making tremendous strides in 6th grade math since Chia has been working with him. This is the right match! We have had numerous tutors before, but Chia has been able to assist my grandson in understanding math, reasoning it out. He has also working on test preparation and understanding how to extract required information from word problems that is required to solve a math problem. My grandson is more confident in facing math problems. We have switched from home visits to online lessons due to the coronavirus and I see as much learning going on as I did on actual visits. As math is a weak area, I plan on continuing Chia's tutoring next school year.
Lior is a very pleasant instructor. After speaking with my, he son felt as though Lior method of breaking down the basics of Geometry was very helpful, and he liked that Lior focused on the main things that my son did not understand within the lesson plan. Although Lior has a very strong accent my son like his teaching method, and feel as though with time the accent barrier will become less challenging, as they take their time going over the information. My son does feel like at this present time within the first lesson, he will be able to accomplish what he need to succeed in Geometry this school year with Lior help.
There is an inexpressible joy in finding someone like Wendy who is able to take my child, who lacked any confidence in his ability to “catch up” and get through his most challenging subject after completely giving up on himself. My son and I will forever be indebted to you. Thank you for your tenacity and patience. He might just follow his dream to be a rocket scientist after all because you found a way to connect with him and coax him, ever so gently, back to a place of learning and progress.
Chia is assisting my grandson in understanding 6th grade geometry. Chia is spending the time to teach him how to ask questions about a math problem (both numerical and word) in order to decipher exactly what information is being requested and what method he should utilize in order to solve the problem and present the correct answer. Robbie is gaining confidence in his ability to solve math problems instead of being afraid of math.
My grandson has struggled with math his entire life. We have utilized many programs and many tutors. He was very apprehensive about working with Chia, but after his first sessions, Robbie had improved his self confidence and his ability to work with beginning geometry. After one session Robbie is talking about how he can raise his grade. We are very happy with the professionalism and personal interest Chia has shown Robbie.
Arvind is always on time. We are usually milling about the kitchen while our daughter is being tutored and listen in occasionally. Arvind is very patient and gently guides her in the direction to catch her own mistakes. Best of all, with the quarantine our daughter is receiving direct teaching and guidance as opposed to online learning.
I can not provide a strong enough recommendation for Chia. He has gone the extra mile to not only keep my grandson abreast of current assignments, he has provided review lessons and advice on test taking. I see more confidence in math and his teacher is seeing a better understanding of the subject matter.
Mary is an outstanding tutor. She exceeded my expectations. Not only has she demonstrated a master of the subject matter but she has a way of making my son feel comfortable during the sessions when he would otherwise be uncomfortable asking for help in a classroom setting.
My grandson has ADHD and an auditory processing disability. These do not seem to impact him at school except for math. Chia was been wonderful in helping him with homework and preparing him for test while also helping him advance at grade level. He is do vey patient.
Arvind takes his time with our daughter to ensure she understands the concept prior to moving forward. While teaching her, he references other areas in her life that this pertains to so she can comprehend the full meaning. He is establishing a good rapport with her.
Chia has a very calming and confidence building effect on my grandson. When Chia arrived, Robbie was already at his seat waiting for the lesson to begin. Robbie is no longer afraid of math, but is gaining confidence in his abilities to solve mathematical problems.
Christian has been a great chemistry and geometry tutor to my daughter who is a sophomore in High School. He has a sound knowledge with regards to the subject matter and a great temperament for tutoring. My daughter has done exceptionally well under his tutelage.
Chia has worked diligently with my grandson since the schools have been closed. My grandson is having no problems completing the online math assignments he receives from school. We plan to continue services until my grandson no longer requires support.
Chia has instilled confidence in my grandson when it comes to math. He has raised his grade from a “D” to a “B”. He is no longer afraid his answers will be wrong, but sees a challenge to be met. All because of time spent with Chia.
I do believe my son Omarion is engaging more and Lior has left instructions for him to go over the work they disussed so that when he return he can see if my son has picked up on what he has learned, which I think is an excellent idea.
Sean did outstanding work through out multiple sessions . He took the time needed and worked with Eric until he had a much better depth of understanding about the subject . We will use him again if necessary without hesitation .
Charlotte is a fantastic tutor. She has been helping our daughter with Geometry. Our daughter found it very easy to establish rapport with Charlotte as she is very patient with helping her understand the subject matter.
Chia has made my grandson believe in himself when it comes to math. Math is the only subject he struggles with. He is finishing his homework quickly and is moving on to more difficult problems ahead of his classmates.
Chia has been working with my grandson for a year. He has not only caught up in math, but is now a leader in his current math class. He has also gained confidence when working with math problems.
Thank You Dr. Burko. My Granddaughter felt so much better after working with you this morning. I truly appreciate your efforts and my granddaughter is looking forward to working with you.
