I am a current graduate student at the University of Miami with over four years of tutoring experience. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a math interventionist for Houston ISD in the Apollo Program. I taught a secondary math course for sixth grade students in a small group setting, ranging from one-on-one instruction to small groups of six.
In addition, I have privately tutored students grades 2nd through 9th in a wide range of subjects, including English, reading, science, math, and ISEE test prep; I also have experience working with special education students.
As a student, I strongly believe in the necessity and power of education. I am passionate about uplifting students to realize and achieve their potential through education. I specialize in mathematics for middle school students, but am open to providing tutoring for early high school and ISEE students.
