I am a 26-year-old medical student with a passion for math, biology, and chemistry! I have four years of experience tutoring college students through a pre-health career scholarship program. I have helped numerous students achieve success in graduate program pre-requisite courses including biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and calculus.

I am currently finishing my last two years of medical school with a research year in dermatology. I will have more time during this research year to dedicate towards tutoring and helping students achieve their career goals. I am a very friendly and encouraging person, and can empathize with academic hardship. I completed undergraduate studies in both biology and chemistry, obtaining two bachelors' degrees. I was also a biology and biochemistry researcher in the undergraduate cancer biology laboratory, where I studied the biochemical markers of pancreatic cancer. As a medical student, I intensively studied anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, and histopathology. I completed original research studying the neurocognitive and behavioral changes associated with dementia and depression, and am now currently involved in molecular research studying biology of chronic wounds. I am also an project author for First Aid, writing study review materials to help prepare other medical students for national medical board examinations.

I am most comfortable tutoring biology and chemistry courses, and can also tutor anatomy and physiology for those pursuing the medical field. I can break down complex concepts into digestable morsels, and help create practice problems to really solidify your knowledge. Many of my previous students are now in nursing, dental, medical, and pharmacy school! I can help you with math and science so you can achieve your goals and get into graduate school. I would love to tutor any level of biology and chemistry from high school up to the undergraduate level. I have mostly evening availabilities based on East Coast time, and can work with you whether you want weekly sessions or as needed tutoring help.
