Below is a summary of my tutoring style-
I personalize the tutoring session/s to provide and achieve individualized learning objectives and goals to fit a student's needs. Whether it is problem solving or generally helping with conceptual questions; I dedicate my time to guiding students in a way that will help them truly understand the concepts behind the material, while having them be able to apply it in their coursework. Of course this may not always be a simple task, but together we can make it work!

I am currently a certified Physics and Astronomy teacher at MDCPS (additionally Florida DOE certified to teach chemistry), and a recent Bachelor's graduate from Florida International University (FIU) in Physics, with a minor in Chemistry.
I have been a Learning Assistant for the Physics Department at FIU since August 2013, working in the undergraduate labs and active learning classrooms. Also briefly worked as a Learning Assistant in the Chemistry Department. Tutoring experience in maths up to Calculus III, General Chemistry I and II, and all General Physics I and II courses (with and without calculus). For students in FIU, I have more or less knowledge of how the instructors like to go about their classes, and may be able to offer particular advice for instructors. I also have worked with the FIUTeach program in developing lesson plans for a 7th grade honors Physical Science class.
