I am a Colombian-American native Spanish speaker with 10 years of experience tutoring Spanish from Beginner to Advanced Conversation level.

At the State University of New York at New Paltz, I tutored Spanish (from Elementary to Advanced Spanish literature course) for 4 years at the Tutoring Center.

I have helped many students (from different levels and ages) achieve academic success in their respective Spanish classes through fun, engaging and practical methods. I also know a plethora of useful resources for learning Spanish and make the sessions engaging, interesting and fun to learn. I also have experience providing one-on-one Spanish tutoring and I use a personalized comprehensive tutoring style to make sure every session is productive.

In 2014, I obtained my translation and interpretation certification through CUNY Hunter College. I provide freelance translations and interpretations and have extensive experience providing interpretation services at national and international events as well as translating press releases, questionnaires, testimonials, pamphlets and other documents.

Since I studied Spanish and German as a minor I understand first-hand the patience and methods involved in learning a new language. A student's success is my success. I have studied Portuguese and German for several years so I incorporate useful methods to learn languages quickly and effectively.
