I am currently in a Teaching Apprenticeship Program, with High Tech High's Graduate School of Education. On my way to my Science Specific Teaching Credential. My goals is to eventually be a Mathematics and Special Education credentialed teacher as well.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Applied Science from UC San Diego and have been tutoring students of all ages since 2012. I truly specialize in mathematics based classes. I also have experience preparing students for SAT/ACT Test as well. I do my best to teach students the concepts so that they are confident and independent with problem solving. My understanding of mathematics has allowed me to take students perspective of understanding problems and assist them with developing their path to a solution. My goal is to help you with your goals.
For Violin, I can teach beginning and intermediate students. I have been playing the violin since 2002, playing with pre-professional orchestras and in San Diego Youth Conservatory. I have an understanding of how to practice and have many resources for developing techniques. If you need help learning a piece or preparing for auditions, I am here for you.
