Hello there!
Off the bat, I live in San Diego and I am a huge sports fan, which yes, means I have suffered many years as a fan here, but one day that will change!!
I love doing math! I find it fun and super enjoyable, sometimes in my conversations with my students I may go off tangent and come off as super nerdy or dorkish, but my students get me. I find it wonderful when I can make a subject a student may hate or detest, and have them see it can worthwhile.
I have taught from 3rd grade and above, when a lesson for math is in play, my usual happy attitude gets get kicked up a notch. That's not to say I don't enjoy working on other subjects, but for me personally, math has always been closer to my heart than the rest.
