Hello. I am currently residing in San Diego and work for the State of CA. I was born in Western Samoa but I was brought here to the U.S. as a child for better education opportunities. As a child along with my other siblings and cousins, we were not allowed to speak English at home except Samoan. I am actually thankful for that and my grandmother because I am fluent in the Samoan language. I was an interpreter for various agencies such as EDD, San Diego City, courts, schools and hospitals. I am proud to be Samoan and my culture.
