To be sufficient in a subject is to be able to perform the problems assigned to you. To be proficient in a subject is to be able to perform any problem that could be assigned to you, or at least tackle them adequately. In our fast-paced society, more times than not, students are educated just to be sufficient in a subject. My intent as a tutor is to educate a student to master that subject -- to be proficient in ... See more

I’m currently a medical student on my break. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UCI. Over the past extensive years of schooling I have learned, what are the best ways to learn a lot of material in a very short time and retain them as well. This can be done by learning the big picture, understanding the concept, then dive into details and always trying to connect the details to the big picture. When a student ... See more
When you live in Raleigh, you know that there is no brotherhood when it comes to Raleigh and Durham, even if you go by the airport, which shares both names. Yeah, it sounds great to mash the two together as one, but that is for the outsiders and not the people who are truly in the know. If you are living in Raleigh, there is no reason to say that you also live in Durham. Do not be a jerk and make sure that you give respect to the fact that they are two different places. This is somewhat similar to the difference that you will see between teachers and tutors. They seem alike, but the teacher can’t offer you the same benefits of trigonometry tutors in Raleigh.
In that case, it might be important to talk about the difference between a math teacher and a math tutor. It might sound obvious to some, but I think we should take the time to go over it. It starts with qualifications, as you need to take tests, get a degree, and get licensed to be a teacher. Tutors are not required to follow those same strict requirements. If you start thinking that this means that tutors are not as good, you would be sadly mistaken. What actually comes about is that you will see that tutors are best at helping one-on-one and teachers are more apt to run a classroom of many. You can get the same great education from our Raleigh trigonometry tutor that you would see from a teacher. In the end, what I think is the most valuable resource that a tutor can give is attention. With so many other students in class, teachers are often split in focus. But with a tutor, everything is focused on making sure that you get as much as you can from the experience.

One of the things that you might get other places, but is not a unique quality to trigonometry tutoring in Raleigh is that it takes place all year long. You can get a tutor whenever. But what other places have is a school year that only goes from September to May. In Wake County, many schools are also year round. That is a good thing for the tutors because students are often not looking to engage in education when they are in the summer. That time is devoted to playing and having fun, which is what makes it so hard to convince people everywhere else to engage in tutoring during the summer.
With the year round schedule, you know that there is always someone there to help you out in your time of need. Raleigh trigonometry tutoring might be the most on top of the ball when it comes to their help because they know what the needs of the students are. They are not shipped in from Durham or anywhere else to help you, instead bringing local help right to your door to make sure that you pass your class.
