About Noel

My name is Noel and I am a 31 year old Teacher Assistant. I have been at the same school for 9 years and have been in grades preschool through first grade. Before becoming an assistant, I was a youth director and a community center and before that I worked in an after school care program for children kinder through eighth grade. I am currently enrolled in school working on my bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies which recently changed from Education. I thoroughly enjoy being around children and working with them. As far as my tutoring experience, I have been tutoring for the past 3-4 years and have enjoyed seeing the success of my students. I have tutored children in kinder - fourth grade and from all walks of life and even those with different learning disabilities. When I work with my student, I take pride in what we do together and consider their accomplishments my accomplishments and their setbacks my setbacks. I believe in being patient and loving with my students and making learning as fun as possible so that they will stay engaged in my lessons and succeed. I believe that every child is unique and has the potential to reach for the stars. I look forward to working with you and your child and helping them succeed in life as well as their academic career.
