I have a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington and two bachelor's degrees from Texas A&M University. I am a former high school math teacher who was certified to teach in the state of Texas for grades 4 - 12. I have over ten years experience tutoring math at primarily the high school level. 5 of those years were working as a Homebound Teacher for NISD where I primarily worked with algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, physics and chemistry. I think that it is important for a person to understand the underlying concepts in order to perform well. I use a questioning technique to lead you to the correct answer, rather than a "tell you what to do" approach. I have found this to be highly effective in helping students to understand and retain information. I love seeing the light of understanding go on in a student's eyes. I work with students at all levels, and I love to help you learn to like the subject that you hate!
