I am a UTEP graduate with a BA in Psychology and have been working with youth since 2017. I've worked for the El Paso Center for Children (Runaway Shelter) - as Youth Care Worker, Center Against Sexual and Family Violence - as Youth Facilitator, and Communities in Schools - as Program Coordinator before deciding to pursue a career in Education. I really saw the need for people with more passion towards the endeavors of our youth in the Education field; I am currently in the process of getting my teaching certification in ELAR 7-12. My approach to instruction is more as facilitation and peaking interest in variety of learners by allowing them to make decisions in their own learning.
