Neuroscience major, Chemistry & Psychology minor, Pre-Medical graduate from New York University. Graduated a year early, in May 2017. I am interested in Neuroscience and Medical Research. I have interned under a researcher at UMDNJ and am an author of our manuscript, which was submitted to the Journal of Adolescent Health in August 2014. I have also researched at various NYU neuroscience labs. I volunteered with Montgomery EMS as an EMT, was a Girl Scout, and completed my Gold Award project during high school. I also enjoy dancing, photography, and community service.
I am currently working full-time at Stanford University as a Research Assistant studying emotion and reward neural circuits in the brain.
I have taken the SAT twice, both times getting 780 or higher on the math section. I also took the Math Subject SAT and got 780 then as well. I also helped my brother and some of his friends study for the Math SAT last year, and am quite well versed in the math topics.
I have studied college-level biology, chemistry, and psychology. I received a minor in both Chemistry and Psychology, and took many advanced biology courses through my major in Neuroscience and Pre-Medical courses.
Similar to my math section scores, my SAT reading section scores were very high, above 760. I also helped my brother study for those sections, when he was taking both the ACT and SAT.
I am a recent graduate and still very well remember the subjects I studied then. I would love to share my knowledge with younger students and connect with them. I am free after work every day (after 4pm), and would also be open to meeting on weekends!
