I'm Claire. I come from Paris and I have taught French and French Literature in middle and high school in France for 5 years. I also have experience teaching American students: I was a lecturer at Rutgers University (New Jersey) and I am currently teaching French in New York public schools.
I have been a tutor in New York City for 5 years, teaching French as a Second Language to students of all levels (Beginners to Advanced) and all grades/ages.
I hold a Master in French Literature from the Sorbonne and I have the highest teaching certification available in France, the "agrégation". In addition to my professionalism, I pride myself on really tailoring each lesson to the student's specific needs and on teaching in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
