I have been a French tutor for the past 10 years on and off. Most recently, I have tutored both kids age 10+ and adults alike. I can tutor anyone from very beginners to people looking to master full fluency. I will adapt my lesson to what you would like to develop the most. The most important aspect is consistency. I like to set weekly meetings with my students (or bi-weekly if they prefer). I have found this to be a requirement for progress.
For example, if you are a beginner, we will work with a text book and learn basic vocabulary and grammar. I will also incorporate speaking right away so that you can master the French accent. If you already have a good level of French, I will focus on either advanced grammar and vocabulary, or developing full oral fluency depending on what you desire.
I can travel to you within NYC and also teaches remotely via Skype.
