At the present time I am a head teacher of 11 students with language based learning disabilities at a private school on the upper west side. I have my masters in special education and general education. I have worked at both public schools and private schools ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. I am committed to pushing my students to to reach their fullest potentials by designing and implementing project-based lessons and providing a structured and safe environment for them to learn. I am an experienced and dedicated individual who is flexible and accommodating in the design and implementation of inspiring hands-on lessons, employing wide-ranging kinesthetic and visual activities to promote student potential and success. I am skilled in behavior management and addressing student needs to ensure students will thrive and develop in an adaptable, safe, educational atmosphere. Possessing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop an excellent rapport with all my students and tutees.
