I tutor with a passion and sense mission to make sure the student learns. I feel a sense of ownership and accountability for their success. I tutored classmates in high school. I tutored for the Dome Project's After School program and Summer Day Camp. I focused on elementary, junior high school, and high school math. However, I also did teach grammar and English as a Second Language. I majored in history and taught history for two years at DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx. I try to facilitate learning by discerning where there might be a gap in understanding, communication, or assumptions. I can also be animated in a way that helps learning, using metaphors or examples in real life to help illuminate a point.
