Hello!
My name is Tarik and I am currently working in cardiovascular research in New York City. I plan to go to graduate school in the future and hope to enter the field of corporate biotech. That being said, my expertise is in Molecular Biology, Pre-Medical and Health-Relevant Topics, and Foreign Languages. I've taken my MCAT and scored really high, and have had 2+ years of experience in tutoring STEM + language courses.
When I'm not working, I'm cooking! I specialize in French and Mediterranean Cuisine, I love making my own pasta and bread, and cook the best seafood ever! I grew up around the world so I work really well with people of all backgrounds.
Fun fact: I have lived in Australia, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Hungary, and Boston before moving to NYC. I speak English, Arabic, French, and Mandarin, and come from a minority culture called Druze.
Feel free to reach out to me!
