Dr. Chloe Martin is a professor, cancer research scientist, and a research consultant. Her research skills in the social and behavioral sciences include statistical modeling and data analysis, survey research study design and implementation, and community-based participatory research. Her research examines psychological factors associated with cancer prevention and control in medically underserved populations including ethnic minorities, low income families, and individuals living in rural environments. She has completed research projects that have focused on community health education, screening promotion, and symptom management in the cancer population. Her research has received support from the United States Department of Defense, the National Institues of Health, and the National Science Foundation. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities, and eCancer Medical Science.
