Hi! I am a middle school special education teacher in Manhattan. I have been working in education since 2013 and have experience working with students from grades Pre-K to high school. I hold a Master of Arts in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology.
As a tutor, my strong suit is English, which is one of the two subjects I teach (the other is science). I can provide high-quality tutoring in essay writing (including term papers, thesis papers, and book analyses), reading comprehension and literacy skills, SAT test preparation for the reading and writing components, and English for ESL students.
My approach to teaching is positive and supportive. Ultimately, my expectation for my students is that they succeed in meeting their academic goals. I will aim for this same objective as a tutor.
