I am a fifth year Communication PhD with three years of teaching experience and seven years of tutoring experience. I have worked as a college writing center tutor and an after school help tutor for K-12, assisting students in a variety of subjects and disciplines. My teaching philosophy involves developing students skills in critical thinking through utilizing up to date examples, current events, and popular culture. By creating my own study materials, I have assisted many students in the transition from high school to college writing, drafting college essays and resumes, studying for exams, standardized test prep, homework help, and reading comprehension/vocabulary.
