I have a Bachelor of Music Education and a Minor in Creative Music Media from Georgia College & State University. My primary instrument is flute, and I also play saxophone, voice, guitar, piano, ukulele, voice, drum kit, aux percussion, and clarinet. I have previous experience working with students 5-17 years of age. I have taught music theory and aural skills (ear training) and have experience coaching chamber ensembles. I have been a member of a variety of music groups such as band, jazz band, marching and pep band, symphony orchestra, pit orchestra, woodwind quintet, saxophone ensemble, flute choir, choir, women's choir, and jazz improvisation. I currently play in a community band where I play flute and sometimes fill in for percussion. I love to read, hike, learn new instruments, and dance in my spare time.
