I went to Baylor University and studied art as well as math. I was recruited by the Math department by junior year as a teacher's assistant. A teacher had to nominate a student for them to be considered as an assistant. I helped two professors, one for Calculus I and the other for Calculus II, grade and discuss problems with the students my last two years of college. If I was unsure about a problem I was willing to look for the right answer until I found it. I would never leave a kid in the dark. In the fall, I will be attending Georgia Tech as a graduate architecture student. I love art, math and art history. My brain may think logically and creatively, but in the end it works. I like structure, yet it is fun to not know what you are going to create one day and it just happens.
I will always try to help a student out in any way I can. Using both sides of my brain allows me to think outside of the box, but clearly show how I came to the conclusion I did.
