Hey! My name is Neal and I'm a University of Michigan graduate with a passion for teaching.
For the past four years I have been the Curtis McGraw Artist in Residence at Pepperdine University. I teach the works of Shakespeare and other works of dramatic literature to students in the Great Books program.
I have experience teaching reading and writing concepts to elementary school students in Detroit, MI as part of the America Reads program.
I also have experience tutoring students in English, Writing and Social Studies from ages 8-17. I'm smart, patient, and make tutoring a fun and engaging experience. I take my work seriously but don't take myself too seriously. Neither should you!
