I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Iowa State University in 2008 and I finished my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2013 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Both my undergraduate and doctorate degrees comprised of extensive coursework in the biological sciences. My biology degree contained coursework in biology, earth science, ecology, environmental science, genetics, and chemistry. The coursework I completed in obtaining my chiropractic degree included anatomy, physiology, cell-biology, neuroanatomy, embryology, microbiology, toxicology, biochemistry, nutrition, and many other health science related courses. I have always had a passion for teaching and I find helping others through tutoring as a way to keep teaching a part of my everyday life. Owning my practice affords me the benefit of having the flexibility to set my own schedule and permits me to keep tutoring a part of my life. Through my past educational experiences, I have utilized a variety of approaches for processing and learning new material, which allows for different teaching options catered to each student. My goal is to facilitate my students in building and maintaining the required skill set needed to achieve their short and long-term academic goals.
