Hello!

My name is Jaspr and I have a passion for teaching, counseling, writing, and building personalized bridges for people to realize their innermost potential. I have experience tutoring for several years in the areas of English, ESL, creative writing, elementary and middle school math, test preparation, among other subjects.

I've studied psychology from many different angles, and have applied this discipline over the past 10 years as I've worked with myriad groups of people. Some of my work includes crisis counseling, behavioral intervention (ABA, TEEACH) , case management, program director, social work, eating disorders, and most recently, as a trauma therapist.

I believe my eclectic experience makes me adept at understanding people from myriad backgrounds, experiences, and personality traits. I utilize this perspective in my teaching and allow each student to fully maximize their potential by creating a learning modality tailored to his/her/their way of receiving information, interests and strengths.

I am computer proficient and have skills in troubleshooting, building PC systems, Google applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Music Production, and Adobe Suite. I am also a musician, and continue to produce music as a hobby.

I also have several years experience as a clinical writer and copywriter. I have an online publication that talks about psychology, practical philosophy, mental health, technology, and various other human stories.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, I have a deep calling to help foster human potential. This desire to help connect to people is what ultimately drives me to be a better listener and hence, a better teacher.
