First, let me thank you for allowing this opportunity. I am a third-year undergraduate student, majoring in Pre-Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics at the University of California, Los Angeles. However, my passion for culinary arts and music are dissimilar to my academic curriculum. I am also an enthusiastic lesson giver in which my tutor experiences date back to high school.
To provide a brief background, I spent my entire high school career at Bishop Amat Memorial High School graduating with a 4.34 overall GPA. I have always had a passion and interest in the health and science-related field and have furthered those interests by volunteering at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, the Commission on HIV, and shadowing an anesthesiologist at Cedars Sinai again as well. My ultimate goal is to help the world by earning a PhD in Pharmacology, become a pharmacist and participate in research for better drugs!
