About John

Hi, I'm a 4th year PhD student at USC studying Computer Science and Chemistry. My work is mostly in machine learning, computer vision, and 3D graphics and before beginning my doctorate I worked as a virtual reality video producer and game developer. The courses I teach are mostly algorithms and computing theory but I entered college as an English major, tutored for the SAT and GRE, was an AP Scholar with distinction, and have even served as the head coach of a high school varsity lacrosse team in the past. In general, I really enjoy getting to know people and understanding how different learners approach problems. Always happy to help and please don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks.
