Hello my name is Samira,
I was born in Mexico City and lived there for 20 years. I studied Industrial Design at Tec de Monterrey University, Mexico and later I specialized in Childhood Education at University of Southern California, since all my life I have been passionate about teaching.
Last two years of university I had the opportunity to teach elementary, middle and high grades and since last year, during the pandemic, I’ve been giving online Spanish tutoring to kids from 5 years old to 16 years old.
I’m currently working as a freelance designer and giving online and in person Spanish tutoring. I really like to combine my design expertise with my passion of teaching so sometimes I like to get kids involved in arts and crafts while they learn Spanish.
