I am a graduate from Santa Clara University with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and I have 5 years of experience tutoring students. I have an intuitive grasp of math and science and I seek to impart this intuition onto my students and give them a deep understanding of the material. I believe this can be done in a fun way that encourages a students innate curiosity of the world around them. In a session, I seek to eliminate the shame many students feel from not being an expert in a topic and show them that recognizing what you don't know is the first step towards learning. I ask them probing questions about the material in order to see where their knowledge gaps are. Once we find where the gaps are I can then focus on creating a deeper understanding.
