I have over five years experience tutoring middle school, high school, and college students. Subjects I have covered include, but are not limited to: algebra, trigonometry, geometry, calculus, chemistry, physics, biology, english, and college applications.
I am currently pursuing my B.S. in Psychobiology at UCLA, where I was chosen as an Alumni Scholar. In addition, I am a UCLA Regents Scholar, an honor awarded to only the top 100 students of each incoming class. My ultimate goal is to attend medical school and enter some subdivision of surgery.
Often there is a disconnect between the teacher and the student. I am able to bridge that gap so that students are able to understand and grasp their respective material. I have experience tutoring students of all ages, as well as special needs students.
My hobbies include playing the drums, and I provide middle school and high school students free music lessons in addition to playing in my own band. I am also an avid outdoorsman, having backpacked over 250 miles across various stretches of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
