My name is Francisco J. Gonzalez and I have been a Spanish and English Linguist (Teacher, Translator and Interpreter) for over 20 years. I got my basic education in Mexico and went to college in Los Angeles. I started to work with foreign language teaching (Spanish and English) in the early 2000 and I have taught all kinds of learners: Business people, travellers, students, people looking to relocate to a new city and culture, and so on. In 2001, I got a Translation and Interpretation Certificate by Berlitz International and started working in those areas.
I like to adapt the lessons to the student’s learning style and goals of course. I base my teaching in the communicative approach and complement it with all needed elements such as phonetics, remedial sessions and building up on students' strengths whether they have some previous experience or not. I believe in each student’s own possibilities and making use of them.
