I have a bachelor's degree in Biology from Fordham University in New York City. In undergrad, I conducted proteomic research, and am currently work in the healthcare field as a research assistant in a cohort with the Gastrointestinal Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and various labs at Harvard and MIT. I have been fortunate enough to have also been accepted to medical school and am in the process of narrowing down my choices.
As far as my tutoring background goes, while in school I tutored for the Chemistry and Biology departments at my school as well as locally for grade and highschool students in my area. I enjoy tutoring all education levels, and focus primarily in the sciences (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry). My style is to make material relatable - it's hard to become invested in a concept when you can't see it playing out in the real world!
