I have a master's degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, and I've worked as a freelance editor and writer for over ten years, and tutored students in reading and writing for just as long. Whether you need help with grammatical rules, how to organize an essay, or simply where to start when putting words down on the page, I'm the tutor for you! I also excelled in test-taking related to English, scoring the highest possible scores on the Verbal SAT, the Writing and Literature SAT subject tests, and the AP English Literature test. So if it's test-taking you struggle with, I can help with that too! As the valedictorian of my high school and a Summa cum Laude honor student throughout college, I know how to manage the challenges of being a student, and I can help you with general studying and organizational skills. I have a special love for reading and writing young adult and children's literature, so I love to discuss books with my students. I have written a few novels and worked with literary agents, and I love to work with students in creative writing as well. I'm personable, easygoing and generally easy to work with, and I'm passionate about helping my students find success. I look forward to working with you!
