An Atlanta native, Kendall graduated Cum Laude from Nashville’s Belmont University in 2014. Immediately after graduation, he began his career in entertainment as an Assistant at The Collective in Nashville, where he was an intern for a year prior to being hired on full-time. While at The Collective, Kendall worked with several clients including Clint Black and Sara Evans, among others. He also oversaw all client’s tour marketing and press activities, while aiding all managers as a coordinator for three years.
Kendall then joined ROAR in Beverly Hills in March of 2017, working on several VIP activation and ticketing projects for Zac Brown Band, Dead & Company, and Michael Franti & Spearheard. Kendall transitioned with the music department to Activist in April of 2018 where he was promoted to Coordinator and aided in the onboarding of several clients and coordinating their various activities. While at Activist, Kendall worked with The Lumineers, Dead & Company, Empire of the Sun, and more.
He recently joined Backbeat Management as a Day-To-Day Manager, working closely with the company’s newly signed artists Terrell Hines, Kathleen, and Eleo. Kendall reports to Backbeat Management’s Founder, Ethan Schiff, and his Partner, Will Suter.
I have helped launch several successful album campaigns and touring efforts, have been a part of the negotiation and execution of multiple record and publishing deals, and have also helped develop inter-company systems for communication and organization.
