My name is David and I am originally from Florida. I obtained my bachelors in Architecture from the University of Florida where I taught design and Art History courses as a teaching assistant. During my final year at UF, I studied abroad in Vicenza, Italy for one semester. When I returned, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida.
After graduation I decided to do more traveling. I ended up volunteering after a Tsunami in Indonesia for one month under the organization www.hands.org. Later, in 2010 I volunteered after a major earthquake in Haiti. In both cases I led teams to design and build schools with transitional shelter. When I completed my goals in Haiti, I returned to traveling while waiting to hear back from graduate school applications. In all, I have traveled to over 40 countries. Before UF I became a part time middle school substitute teacher after obtaining my AA degree from Miami Dade College.
