I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I have worked in an elementary school for 6 years. Three of those years were as a Teacher’s Assistant and worked with grades K-5 in multiple subjects. The other three years have been as a Primary Promise Instructional Aide and work with grades 1-3. I specialize in literacy helping students master their phonological and phonemic awareness and moving them on to phonics. It is incredibly rewarding witnessing students improve their accuracy and fluency in reading after mastering the first steps.
