In 2016, I received my doctoral degree at the University of Southern California in the field of High Energy Physics (String Theory, Supergravity). My teaching experience is ranging over many years of working as a tutor for students in the subjects mathematics and physics in a training center in Germany, until before my arrival in the United States. (Prior to this I had also tutored kids my age and younger in high school). Since being at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, I have gained a strong amount of further teaching experience as a laboratory instructor and tutor in various physics sections. Multiple promotions to the position of the Head TA and several lecture substitutions have additionally given me the opportunity to prove and strengthen my leadership qualities. The very positive feedback by a multitude of students both in Germany and the United States, along with sincere acknowledgment by faculty and laboratory staff, could only motivate me more in following this path of sharing my knowledge with people – and maybe even inspire them to aspire a career in STEM.
