Hi there! I'm a UC Berkeley graduate with extensive tutoring, writing, and editing experience. I specialize in writing, English language and grammar, reading comprehension, and the SAT verbal. I've also mentored and tutored many students throughout the college application process, specifically the essay writing portion.

I am driven to empower students to build skills and confidence in their own abilities. My psychology and education background enable me to meet students where they are, scaffolding instruction to help students grasp concepts and apply them successfully. Additionally, I have extensive experience editing, proofreading, and writing as a blogger, reporter, policy writer, publications assistant, and copywriter. I enjoy integrating my work experience to create engaging, effective lessons for each tutoring session.

I can travel to students or offer online/virtual help. My base rate is $40/hour for in-person lessons, but I am able to offer discounts for online tutoring.
