I am a teacher specializing in students who need an individualized education plan in order to learn to the best of their ability. I have been in the education field for 15 years, teaching in the classroom for ten. I have worked with elementary, middle and high school students with varying academic abilities from gifted to far below average. I have worked with all general education subjects but I excel in teaching or tutoring the English Language Arts: phonemic skills, reading, comprehension, comprehension of expository texts such as Science, Geography, Social Studies, etc and literary works, vocabulary, writing and essay organization.
