I am a 35 years-old college-graduate level educated male with a true passion for mathematics and science. I have been tutoring for 10 years now and have had great success with my students, ranging from middle school to graduate level and non-traditional students.
I began tutoring by helping other students in my high school classes. In college, I worked as a private math and physics tutor at private tutoring institutes such as Huntington Tutoring Institute. Subjects ranged from remedial algebra, geometry, trigonometry, to calculus, calculus-based physics, and chemistry.
In graduate school, I instructed undergraduate and graduate courses at California State University and Virginia Commonwealth University in a classroom setting with more 100 students. In 2015, I took a position with Reynolds Community College as an adjunct professor. I worked one-on-one with High school and College students preparing students for exams, helping with homework, and lots of SAT, ACT, and GRE math test preparation.
I prefer one-on-one tutoring and enjoy engaging my students with fun and challenging math and physics problems. I like to apply math and physics to real world situations to allow my students to fully understand the relevance and necessity of knowing and using math and physics in their everyday lives.
