I have a Bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a Master's degree from Berklee College of Music. I started tutoring over five years ago because I believe strongly in the power of education, have always been a strong test-taker (99th percentile), get along great with kids, and believe that most students could significantly elevate their scores if they simply learn to alter their approach towards the specific needs of the test itself. Throughout my early sessions, I work to lay a foundation of comfort and understanding, helping my students feel and ease and ready to learn. From there, we build an easygoing rapport based on trust, compassion, and commitment towards excellent results. Better scores make me, the student, and the student's caregivers feel validated and proud; we all win!
