About Tomas

I am an author, journalist and award-winning screenwriter-producer from Los Angeles. I write news and opinion pieces, feature stories, film reviews, celebrity profiles, screenplays and darkly-funny modern poetry. I have a BA from San Francisco State in Film History, an MFA from The American Film Institute in Screenwriting and have been a Girl Scout troop leader since 2016.

I’m also a massive book nerd with a lifelong passion for reading, writing and teaching students of all ages how to improve their reading comprehension and creative writing skills in a fun, entertaining environment.
