Originally from the NYC area, Rob attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music for Jazz studies and Emerson College for Musical Theater, both in Boston, MA Later he attended The Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Hollywood, CA
Rob's whirlwind career in music & acting has taken him from Italian Restaurant piano bar gigs in Pasadena, to writing themes and jingles for Fox TV & the LA Dodgers, to sold out shows at the Hollywood Palladium & the Rio Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, to International performances in Europe, Asia, Australia & the Arab Emirates.
In between tours & giving piano lessons, his acting career has led him to working along side such luminaries in the movie business as Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller & James Gandolfini; Roles on the TV shows Angel, House MD & a recurring part on the show Workaholics starring Adam Devine.
He was also the first actor to have composed the jingle and starred in a national commercial in a non spokesperson capacity.
As a filmmaker Rob has had his work featured at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007, and he wrote and directed and co-starred in an official entry in the Los Angeles Shorts Fest program in 2008.
