Reno 911! was a comedic series that was broadcast on Comedy Central. This single-camera show relied heavily on improv from a cast of some of the most talented comedic actors in the game. Using what is referred to as “retroscripting” the storylines were scripted but the way in which the actors interacted with each other was not at all. This created fantastic television, hilarious comedic moments and the show was on television for about six years.
Many of the actors in this show went off to do a ton of other work becasue of the talent they showcased here. It was truly revolutionary and one of the funniest shows in Comedy Central history, which says a lot.
