My intent as a tutor is to educate a student to master that subject -- to be proficient in ... See more

Although Michael Bay uses several practical effects when he is shooting, he is known for his style of editing with special effects which is referred to as “Bayhem.” All of the fast cuts that he uses to piece together an action sequence are quite beautiful. If you are interested in editing then you might also be interested in computer science. Editing goes hand in hand with computer science and there are several great editors who have a background in this field.
When I was in college I knew of a student who was studying computer science as his major and film studies as his minor. He ended up getting a job offer right out of college to be an editor at a fairly reputable company, and he always has a backup plan. If this sounds like something that you want to do then it is important for you to stay focused.
