I am an experienced teacher with two Bachelor's degrees, a Master's degree, and completed Ph.D coursework. I have approximately seven years of teaching experience, and I hold an English certification. I have a passion for all the material I teach, and that allows me to meet my students' learning needs. Even more importantly, I am creative. Sometimes teaching is all about packaging the ideas differently.
What I value most in the learning experience is when students become confident and independent in their own learning. My job as a teacher is to give them those tools. I am a lifelong learner myself, and I greatly value what my students teach me. Their insights and the ways they learn help me to grow as an instructor.
