I am currently studying English with a concentration in professional writing at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am also a writing center tutor at UTSA, where I assist students of all disciplines with academic writing at any stage of the writing process, whether that be in the outlining stage or the final revision stage. Through my experience as a writing tutor, I have become familiar with MLA, APA, and Chicago styles.
Because of my studies in English, I am very knowledgeable about literature as well. My primary areas of focus are poetics and 19th- and 20th-century American literature, but I would be happy to help with any other assignments pertaining to literature in general.
After earning my BA next year, I plan on enrolling in graduate school to work towards earning my PhD and eventually teaching at the college level.
