Hi!
I am a recent math PhD from Penn State, with a focus on making the math computers do to simulate physics work faster and more efficiently. This involved a lot of linear algebra, so that area is my expertise, and best known subject. I also have spent the past 5 years of grad school learning as much applied math as possible, and also teaching and tutoring trigonometry, elementary algebra, calculus, and differential equations for the university. As such, I know not only how to convey the information needed for you to excel in calculus, but also what your professors and graders are looking for in how you convey that knowledge on homework, quizzes and exams. I won a prestigious teaching award in 2018 for my efforts, and I was consistently rated highly by my students on the rating system.
If you work with me, I'm confident that I can get you to not only think on the right track, but to get more out of your math classes!
